Locally, Vonda Wingate of The City of Greensboro Economic Development and Business Support has spearheaded this project and helped dozens of businesses Get On The Map. In addition, the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, Greensboro Public Library, Greensboro Partnership, The Small Business Center at Guilford Technical Community College, and UNCG Entrepreneurship Center have partnered over the last year to bring these workshops to business owners in the Triad. This year the EDBS added two new partners Team Dream Works owned and operated by DarLinda Finch and Lady Bizness, owned and operated by Chisa D. Pennix-Brown, MBA to help lead the charge to more efficient workshops, community collaboration, and event facilitation.
Pennix-Brown will work in the area of facilitating the Google Analytics workshop to help attendees grasp how much information the internet can really tell them about their business. “Understanding where your traffic is coming from and why people aren’t staying on your site can save a lot of time and money,” stated Pennix-Brown.
